Professional Experience

Software Developer

2024 - present

Lagersmit - Alblasserdam

At Lagersmit, a company specializing in sealing solutions for the marine sector, I work as Software Developer in the R&D department. My role involves developing a scalable customer portal that enables real-time tracking of vessels and monitoring of the condition of their seals. To realize communication on these vessels, it is needed to install hardware and custom software on the vessel servers. The final goal of the system is to advise customers on required maintenance of their ships based on the current and historical condition of their seals.

Tech stack: .NET, Angular, Azure, Bicep, C#, GitHub Workflows, JavaScript, Python.

Teamleader Service

2019 - 2025

Albert Heijn - Delft

I have worked as a team leader at Albert Heijn. My main responsibilities were jointly supervising a team of 40 employees and ensuring correct cashflow management.

Student Assistant

2022

TU Delft, Software Engineering Research Group - Delft

During my Bachelor's final project, I researched the use of semantic versioning on one of the largest project management platforms called Maven. It was found that many developers introduce breaking changes and illegal API extensions in their published packages. The project concluded with a presentation and defense, for which I received a final grade of 8.5. A joint paper on this topic was published in 2023 in the Journal of Systems and Software.

Tech stack: Java, Python, SQL.

Student Assistant

2021

TU Delft, Department of Water Management - Delft

In a team of four bachelor students, I have worked on the source code for the next iteration of DHALSIM: a digital twin for water distribution systems. It supports simulation of cyber-physical attacks, enabling analysis on infrastructure robustness. This was a collaboration between iTrust, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and TU Delft.

Tech stack: Mininet, Python.
